Travelling to Calais on the A26 from southDepends on the direction you are heading when you leave the port or Eurotunnel......?
Beat me to it restaurant not open every night , best to book but baker Street in town is open every night and do some good meals at a reasonable cost.Gravelines and eat at L'Eclusier right next door.
Veg to come although I had to hold it down as it was trying to escapelooks lost on that plate
A good rule of thumb for steaks in France is to ask for "bien cuit" otherwise they just wave it at the cooker as they walk past.Veg to come although I had to hold it down as it was trying to escape
No no no. Bleu please.A good rule of thumb for steaks in France is to ask for "bien cuit" otherwise they just wave it at the cooker as they walk past.
Camping Saint Louis, it has a bar restaurant onsite, great facilities and 30 mins from tunnel. Can anyone recommend a place to stop within an hour of Calais to eat and stay over
I think my “medium done please” got lost in translationA good rule of thumb for steaks in France is to ask for "bien cuit" otherwise they just wave it at the cooker as they walk past.
Another vote for Aire-sur-la-Lys for a change from Gravelines. An old municipal site with all the services which are very smart. Nice little town a short walk from the Aire. Lidl and Intermarche on the outskirts.Aire sur-la-Lys
not too far from A26 and Calais
or, a little further away from the A26 but could incorporate into route easily if travelling north is Saint Venant.
Same here.Camping Saint Louis, it has a bar restaurant onsite, great facilities and 30 mins from tunnel.
