The Plöcken pass into Italy has been closed for over a year due to rock falls, it is now open to cars on a 20min each way basis and should be fully open to all by the summer, 15 million euro has been spent on rock clearing and rock catchment fencing.
For me this is almost a straight line from Rosenheim over Kitzbul and Lienz into italy, ideal for Jeselo/ Venice avoiding the Brenner.
I know some funsters use this route, its ideal for sub 7m vans IMO, you can do bigger, I just would not want to.....
