Warning pet gripe to follow 🙄
We've just spent a lovely weekend away in the moho but what is it with folk thinking it's acceptable to cut across your pitch to get from a to b?! Our pitch was fenced at the back but there was, a tiny gap between it and the hedge - we saw three people on separate occasions cut right past our door in both directions!
Rant over 😉

While I totally agree with the OP, I do think sometimes that the 'proper' opening by the site owners, who have obviously never pitched up on their own site, could be positioned better.

You could’ve wound your EHU lead across the gap several times to block it…….;)

(not too tight though….)

Next time, choose a pitch that isn't vulnerable to invasion, if that's important to you.
You live 'n learn...

I would have moved the van over and blocked the gap, there seems to be space?

Did you unfasten it and watch the dog wander off?
Naw, not as bad as that!

Did go out and scratch his lugs though.

Owner was a trifle embarrassed when she returned and apologised as she thought we were out! We did have a giggle every time she went passed with me shouting "dog sitting service available - only a pound tae tie yir dug up!"
Life's too short to get wound up about it.

These things only wind you up if you let them. I love sarcasm for times like that, stick your hand out and ask them for toll fee. Or ask if you are in their way, Ask them, have they come for the BBQ, or stop them and ask if should you leave a light on at night in case they want to use your pitch after dark They'll get the message or they won't, but don't worry :D

Absolutely! Actually I nearly wiped her out as I was just opening the door as she passed by. Made her jump a bit! 😉

That looks like Moreton in the Marsh…..

if it gets to you, you can easily drape the EHU cable on the fence and hedge

Sorry Jim, but if they aren't told it won't stop.
No good coming on here moaning if nothing is done about it
To be fair we did have a polite word 🤔 Just thought I'd share to see what others thought - acceptable or unacceptable?

It's Hawes - lovely site, nice market town and great walks 😊
I thought it was but make a fool of myself often enough without adding to it.

All the back to back pitches further up from you (opposite the toilet block) now have a wire fence between them as it used to be like Oxford St at Christmas shopping time!

The height of rudeness! There’s very little respect/common decency these days.
