We went a few years ago, nice and interesting event with plenty of pistons but not much props, run by a Caravan Club section they had a meltdown when we arrived and called our van a RV (how dare they) then tore a strip off us for not putting our size on the booking form but there was no such section, he said he would check and come back to us, never came back which just confirmed no space on the form, wouldn't let us park near our friends as "we were too big" then parked a car and caravan in the same row and they didn't even unhook it

Still a nice little show though

There was/probably still is, plenty of other parking/camping options without getting involved with C&MH club.
Just saying if someone's not been before.

Yes but they were the closest and would have been perfectly OK if two vans one 8.7 metres and the other about 9.4 hadn't turned up together, that was/is no excuse for their reaction and then parking us near the toilets and generator somebody found the off switch though so all was OK.
