Pioneer head unit not loading

Wondering if anyone can help with a pioneer head unit not working properly before I start checking connections and fuses.

My pioneer avic z1000 turns on, the reversing camera works. But it just doesn’t load. It says loading then I get a white screen before going back the loading screen.

It’s just under a year old, but I did have a flat battery and had to disconnect to charge it so wondering if there is a loose wire somewhere, or a blown fuse, or maybe even software.

Pioneer support and manual are useless and it just says to contact dealer, i really want to avoid a trip to the dealership if i can.

Do you have a USB port at the side of the screen? If yes there should be a small hole above it, poke a paper clip in the hole and push for 3 seconds, should be sorted.

the usbs are further down near the cup holders, I’ve searched for a reset button but can’t find anything. Maybe I need to search a bit better!

Try removing the power from it again, then reconnect, and try.

They will be vehicle ones. disconnect and re-connect as above. Does the screen lift up?
