Has anyone any really nice recommendations along the coast between Pineda and Salou. 8,8mtr tag axel btw.

Campsites or Aires close to life, bars restaurants, marinas.

Thanks in advance

Al 🌞👍

Camping Enmar, family owned, in Pineda almost on the beach & in town centre. I love the location and the site is absolutely fine too. ACSI too

That’s where we are Roy lol

it’s full now till sunday so that’s why i’m asking for a recommendation on route to Salou

thanks for the recommendation though, first time here and it’s great tbh 👍

Playa montroig just a bit further on. Beyond Cambrils

Yes we’ve seen that one but tbh Sanguli in Salou, if you’ve never been, has to be the best campsite in Spain, maybe europe or even the world 🤣.

So my missus won’t pass it to go elsewhere 😉

That said it’s bloody expensive and the one we’re on now at Enmar Pineda for 21euros a night is a belter

In the surroundings of Vilafranca del Penedés you have some free municipal aires such as Vilobí del Penedés. It is an area (Penedés) of cava vineyards, but there is not much life there.
I would recommend areas in the inland of Tarragona, in a vineyard area, if you are interested in good wine, but some roads may not be suitable for your vehicle.

If you want to stay on the coast, the best options are the campsites around Tarragona, already mentioned above.

Regards.

As well as the beautiful beaches you all know, allow me recommend a visit to the city of Tarragona (in case you haven't),
the old roman city of Tarraco (which was capital of half of the iberian peninsula in roman empire times) 🙂(y)
(apologies for not unifying it in a single post)

Good to meet you btw this morning

Hi Al,
Yes there are a number of pitches but the site is not near a town and fairly well under the flight path. 🥴
We’re only staying one night.

Where you headed next mate

were on Sanguli, quite a nice big shady pitch. water and elec for £22 a night so we’ve booked a week.

I think there’s 5 pools and 4 restaurants or vice versa, supermarket and amphitheater and 100yds off a lovely beach with a beach bar every 100mtrs.

It’s our 4th time here mate so we must like it 👍

When I looked at the site the prices looked silly, if that’s what you’re paying we might see you tomorrow. I had emailed a site in Peñíscola to see if they had pitches.

i’ve just this minute paid for 7nights Trev and it was €180.04 so £22 a night mate, i’ve said to Val some of the trees around the pitches need some tlc but the main attractions really are superb. Pretty sure you’d like it but we all have to form our own opinion tbh.

It’s a massive family site Trev and Val says there’s a few kids on as well, but i’d rather have them than yappy dogs lol

We’re not fans of Peniscola tbh, been just once this Jan and it was a ghost town, didn’t find a single bar open and a very ugly old chinese right on the front that needed demolition, really spoilt the prom tbh
