Fiat Ducato Pilote
Have had this beautiful 2020 Fiat Ducato Pilote P650C 3 Berth for just on a year.
Wifi symbol with cross through it appeared on our tablet screen and now we have time only, no controls for heating etc. We rely on these to set up and maintain our comfort. We are oldies and obviously not to tech savvy. Help please. Thanks heaps in hopeful anticipation.
 
i dont know your system but if you use it on a tablet its either wifi or bluetooth i would first check in your pad settings that both are on the cross through it would suggest your not connected this should also show in the pad settings

Hi , you should still be able to control the heating and hot water by using the Truma control panel above the entrance door.

If you remove the mains hookup from the motorhome and then switch off the Xperience tablet using the switch just above the light switches by the entrance door, then switch back on the tablet should reboot which might correct the problem.

Not sure how to get reconnected. The i-pad inside the door in the Pilote is now just showing the time when I tap it. Heating home and water is all on as is the gas and utilities. I di not know how to use the panel above the door. I rely on the i-pad to set everything up when we arrive and turn everything off when we leave. I always turn the gas off manually. I am so grateful for your input. Thank you. Husband is unwell. Camping is his happy place even though we are in very wintry conditions here in New Zealand.

Thank you Patrick. I shall try that as soon as daylight dawns. So there is no external provider for the wifi connection? I thought there might be a subscription to be paid to some one ... Would not have a clue how to find them.

There should be a large light type switch on the left hand side of the entrance just below the sink, switch it off and wait 20 seconds., switch back on and it should re boot the xpirenece tablet, but you can use the trauma control to overide heat and light settings but not the water pump.

Hi, I guess you're referring to the bit about artificial intelligence , please don't take offence ,that is something that is part of all my posts :rolleyes: . It wasn't aimed at you. Maybe I should remove it.

Back to the problem in hand. Your system is the same as ours - the symbol doesn't refer to wifi ( maybe it's a French thing)there is no wifi on this version of the Xperience tablet. The tablet is physically connected to the main control box by a cable , it's telling you that there is a problem with that connection. A reboot might sort it , but unfortunately probably not. Try the reboot method I mentioned earlier.
