Pilote G650L
We are very new to Motorhoming and today is our first trip out and the waste water isn’t draining properly, the tanks not full or that’s what the sensor is saying.
It was working fine last night, the only thing that’s changed is we had a frost last night.
Anyone have any advise or experienced this themselves
Thanks on advance Andy

Don't know the specifics of your van but if ours is sloping marginally it's amazing how much water we can get into the grey tank before the level gets higher than the outlet.

Is nothing draining properly, i.e. sinks and shower, or just one thing?

We have a Pilote G600, our waste tank never reads as empty. That’s even if we have the waste tap permanently open (such as when we’re emptying through pipes into a drain - to pre-empt a different and heated discussion). So I’m fairly certain it’s really empty.
I think the sensor has been contaminated/coloured/obscured by dirty water so it can’t send properly at lower levels. As the tank becomes half full and above it begins to read correctly.

The kitchen and bathroom sink are really slow but tbe shower is fine, I’ve emptied the waste tank now which wasn’t full
I’m thinking they are slow because the pipes are the smallest diameter you can fit.

When you get the chance put some tank and waste pipe cleaner down them to clear away any crud that has collected in the waste pipes. (Fenwicks do one for example) and is available in most caravan & motorhome shops, and I think Halfords stock it.

We too have a Pilote G600 and have the same problem. Our readings are all over the place so I basically ignore the gauge and just mentally compute the amount of water used with the help of the fresh tank gauge level. That said the fresh gauge isn't much better! The very horizontal pipe-run from the tank to the spout also means that it always runs very slowly. The valve in the tank is operated by a flexible drive that is not very good at transmitting the effort. Like ElliesBoss it is very susceptible to the level of the MoHo.

Hot water in the sink, add a dish washer tablet, drive for 1hr open the drain and bobs y uncle everything draining faster, note faster not exactly fast but better.
