Pilote 626D TV Antenna

I have ran without a TV Ariel for over two years with just using the standard plugin and walking about the van till I get a signal. Decided its time for an upgrade an I would like to install an external fixed TV antenna. Can anybody advise what are the best options on the market at present?

Anybody with the same van would they be kind enough to show an image of what type they have and where they have the antenna fitted internally.
I am hoping to complete this as a home project without going to any the main dealers.

We had a Status 580 (long pole) Digital Antenna, made by Vision Plus, fitted. It goes up inside the wardrobe taking up very little space. Very happy with it as it picks up tv signals we werent able to receive with the short pole version.
