If anyone has a similar CI van. I have a brand new rear bumper in my garage loft. Madisons obtained it for me due a a truck damaging the rear end. It was not needed. Going for a song if a private forumite

1976 Ford Transit under powered 2000cc petrol engine, 3.5t - 5 birth. Did 20mpg and was once over taken by a milk float when climbing a steep hill! However - I was quite able to overtake tractors....
Had a gas boiler with an open flame - never thought about carbon monoxide!
Had great fun with the wife and 2 kid up and down the country. Sold it to a Frenchman who was going to run it around Europe...
great times....

I had a 1971 Mercedes 206D Autobahn/Bariban(?) like this one...

A fabulous motorhome. The seat cushions were reversible, leather one side a rufty tufty cloth the other.

It was the van I was in when I went fulltime.

Selling it was one of the major regrets of my van life.

Vanfest 1992. We were put to shame by all the other vans there and never went again.

We've had this one for going on five years now.
1992 Hymer b 694.

Not ancient but it was our first campervan, a 1994 Toyota Hiace - with attitude! Affectionately known as The Gray Warrior.
We bought it for £3,800 with 18,000 miles on the clock from the Japanese Car Sales in Tokyo and had it shipped over by ship, had it converted from a Street Cruiser to a campervan by Wellhouse Leisure in Shipley.
Made it's debut in 2009 at both Wrenbury and Stratford Race Course. Kept it for three years.
