Yep its another haganap production.
This has been amazingly difficult to arrange
I at present have a limit of just 30 vans due to the popularity of this event
After having such a great weekend at Eden camp dressed in 1940s gear, I have along with co marshalls Ralph and Bev organised a motorhome fun camping section for the Pickering War Weeeknd.
The dates are the 12th to 14th of October 2012
fortunately I have also arranged a last bit of Autum sunshine as well.
The event takes place along the North Yorkshire Railway.
This event is said to be a spectacular place to go with many getting in to the swing of things and dressing up in their 1940s gear to make it a real step back in time.
It looks like an awful lot of fun. :thumb:
Prices are currently being negotiated but stand at £45 for the weekend for 9 meter by 5 meter pitch. RV's are currently being told that it will cost more, but as I say, this is being negotiated with clarity to be given at a later date. You may arrive as early on Friday as you wish (after 7am) and stay through untill late Sunday. The camping is at the Pickering showground whereby toilets and showers will be available. However there will be no electric but generators will be welcome.
There will be a FREE shuttle bus running between the camping area and the town of Pickering throughout the event. From there the Train can be picked up to the relevent stations with various further activities.
There will be a dance on the Friday and Saturday evening and many many other trade stands and events going on.
The event it'self is of course in one of the most outstanding beautiful areas of Great Britain.
