I didn't know the county of Northumberland had airbags.
A certain Female detective windbag in the shape of ''Vera", yes, but as to airbags, sorry, can't help.
Welcome to Fun by the way.

There is an ecu repairer in the North East if you check out the internet. I can't recall the name. You need to send off the ecu by post . It gets checked and repaired if it can be repaired and returned.
Found it

Have a search for Airbag znd ECU on here, will explain the issue.

A main dealer will replace with a new one if you don't want to go the 'refurb' route.

And welcome to the forum!

You may be lucky and find that it’s only a loose connection under the seat as a faulty one simply goes off and stays off.
Agree with the above. Just sounds like a loose connection.
If you have been putting things under the drivers seat it may have caught something. There are everal seat belt related connections under the seat.

Thanks. I’ve had a look but didn’t see anything obvious. I’ll go back and check all the connections. There is a tray under the drivers seat which has been well used there there may be something in what you say!

As it's intermittent Remember to check the connection onto the actual air bag ecu. The retaining clip may have moved and connector loose. Also check for any moisture getting into the connectors.
