Hope I’ve posted in the correct place
I have a 1999 Peugeot boxer 320s 2.5td does any one have knowledge of this engine at all please as I have found a wire that’s cut and cannot trace it back to

I'm afraid I don't have much idea about any sort of engine, but hopefully someone else will be able to help.

Sorry, difficult to see which wire you are talking about. Does it start at any component or just cut in the middle with both ends disappearing into wiring looms?
What colour is the wire?
Does your van work OK?

It could a redundant system someone has added, burglar alarm bonnet switch etc.

Cheers for the reply’s long story but had trouble with starting from cold so fought it was glow plugs etc so got a mechanic in and he thinks it’s the starter motor as brand new battery but only getting 9v to the starter motor and looks like it’s been on there for the age of the van but we noticed this wire and nothing around where it could connect too but he seems to think it could be a fuel heater so really just trying to get some ideas on it it’s a black and white wire

Just got this one recently. 76k no recent service history so got the filters and belts done just to be safe. Starts and runs very well, no smoke, not using oil and no back pressure in cooling system. Had one little hiccup on our last trip to west coast , was on a lot of steep, bumpy, single...
