Last September we travelled to Southern Ieland where we managed to get an EU pet passport for our dog Poppy. As Poppy had just had a 3 year rabies jab in England in August the vet said that was fine for the EU passport and transferred all the details, signed and stamped the passport for us saying she would not need to redo the rabies jab. We are to cross to france via Eurotunnel in a couple of weeks and I am beginning to panic as I have read that a sticker needs to be transferred from the English rabies form to the EU passport and a rabies jab needs to be done in an EU country. Are we good to travel?.

You will be fine. Your rabies info in the passport is fine without a sticker as long as it is signed and stamped. You will have to renew the rabies jab with an EU vet in the future. Pic of our info transferred from AHC to pp

No you do not need a sticker, just check the dates etc 👍

Beaten to it by Zigisla another of Mme Jaucot's customers 😀
