Hi guys what's the verdict on park may stay 3nights next week, got walking, swimming pool, regards

Great for cycling and walking the beach that it leads onto is beautiful through the downs
One of my favourite places but never stay in the park as I am relatively local so cycle/walk in
can get busy on the camp sites but the park is huge so you can find hidey-holes
The beach is rarely busy due to the size

Beware the plant which causes an allergic reaction (can’t remember the name but there were loads of warnings about when we were there many years ago). Despite having reasonably sensible children I had to take my oldest son to hospital at 6am because his eyes were totally swollen and my youngest daughter got painful sores all over her legs.

Apart from that, we enjoyed our holiday!

The Caravan and Motorhome Club site at Pembrey is excellent. It's located about 100 yards from the entrance to the Country Park itself. Facilities are very clean and a nice tidy site. You can walk to the fabulous beach in about ten minutes.

We haven’t stayed there for a long time but we had several enjoyable visits years ago. As well as the CMC site there were THSs in the park in summer.
As others have said the cycling and walking are excellent and there used to be several other attractions.

It’s wild Parsnip, we visit Pembrey at least twice every year, the walks are very extensive we also love walking into Bury Port (a very flat walk so really easy for most) and generally visit the harbour lights tea room as they are dog friendly even to our 2 (rather large) Weimaraners.

Plenty of room on the beach and you can drop the wife off in a handy pill box on your way to Bury Port if you want some peace !
