can somebody please tell me please how the storm hooks are used as supplied with the awning fix and go feet.that ones got me beat

no pic. its a 6mm coach bolt with no thread originally about 80mm long and bent into a 180 degree u shape

Don't they hook over the top of the pull down legs where it meets the awning rail, then you hook the blue hooks over the head end for the tie down.

I'm only guessing, but at the hinge with the awning rail is probably a gap. If you pass the U bolt through the gap it should sit over the top of the leg. You can then clip the blue clip on the head side for the tie down strap. Only a thought, I have similar, but instead on a U bolt I have a piece of bent metal forming the hook.

thanks i have the bent metal storm tie down system myself, i am thinking that this u gizzmo is part of their tie down system. so i think i will recycle it. and thanks again

I could blow that out of the ground.
My storm strap pegs were 450mm re-bar.

The head is trapped under the Peggy Peg foot that is held down by 4 bolts, you ain't going to blow that out.

Now I've seen a picture and understand how it works I agree.

I have gone over to the metal Peggy Pegs now as I have snapped a few of the plastic ones and that’s after I have pre drilled the holes they are a good product though

thanks all, i think its a dopey idea,i will use an independent fixing for my storm straps
