Hi Guys, I have just bought a rollerteam pegaso 740 (haven't got it yet) and I want to upgrade to 2 100ah lithium batteries. I've read that there are 2 battery chargers under the drivers seat however I need to know if anything needs upgrading or is it simply a case of swopping the charger to lithium? I can't find any specs online for rhe pegaso. Also do I need to do anything with the solar controller? Thanks in advance

This may help, I fitted 2 × 110ah lithiums to our RT 590. The Nordelectronica controller is know to fail so I off loaded the fridge to a separate relay and fitted 2 × 30a Victron B2B.

Hopefully one is a B2B.

If so, and it has a lithium profile, then the job should be simple. Just set the profile to lithium.

The other charger will probably be EHU and that may well have a lithium profile or a GEL profile.

Change the Solar controller as well.

Job done. That is all I needed to do on a new Hymer.

Thanks for the reply, is there a particular solar controller that you would recommend? Or do some of these come with a setting for lithium as well?

I would expect almost all solar controllers to come with a LiFePO4 profile.

I have one as listed, which I will be changing in the new year, but the one in eBay is a good price so might be a good option ....

It trickle charges the vehicle battery and also has the AES connection.
