I have as above a elddis autoquest 155 majestic,it's 2011 model with 15000 miles on the clock, recently I noticed on the offside at rear the laquar that they applied after spraying was beginning to lift,I contacted Elddis and was told what else do you expect from a 9year old vehicle, they also advised me that they were unable to provide me with the paint code and I would have to take it to one of there dealers who would advise me as to cost.
To say I was shocked at there response was a understatement.
Am I being unreasonable in thinking that this was a unreasonable response and it's a case of they aren't interested.

Its not very helpful, but I guess 9 years is a long time. If I were the supplier I would try and help but because environmental factors influence paint life then perhaps you need to take this one on the chin.

Response Sounds V Disappointing, civility costs nothing after all.
Good luck with getting it repaired, any decent coachworks should be able to colour match as they have the technology, more so than most MH dealerships.
Try Chips away or similar first, you may be pleasantly surprised.

Their paint advice was entirely sensible as it's unlikely that the original paint code would help you as the paint will have faded/discoloured over time.
As TinaL said, any decent vehicle body repair business will be able to match the colour and supply some paint. If it's not convenient to take the vehicle just take a sample part e.g. an external locker door for colour matching.
