Ok so we now need a test before we leave France in about 7days . But where do we actually go to get this? Thanks Toggy

What a farce, at best 40% accurate and then in ideal conditions.
How long are the public going to fall for this one asks.
Those figures are public knowledge and supported by Kerry Mullins the Nobel prize winner inventor.

Yep.

Not MH related as such but we have a trip to EuroDisney 28th to 31st but with the new pre-departure test it looks like we'll have to cancel the whole thing.

It's not the cost or inconvenience of getting the test but the risk of either of us testing positive and being stuck in France for 10 days.

Basically Gov. have pissed all over the travel industry yet again on what to me (admittedly I'm no expert) nothing more than a hunch..

When the government brought in mandatory testing for travellers last time everyone said it was too late. Now they bring it in early there is still complaints. Can't do right from wrong!

Agree that no matter what they do, a large section of the media and possibly the public will disagree. Tbh I can't remember what the circumstances were when the last pre-departure testing was brought in but we've been told vaccines are our way out and a massively high % has done this, including boosters, and we're treat no differently.

The biggest concern is the impact on people livelihoods just as we were starting to come out the other side.

It still has not stopped the variant getting here which I feel that no matter what they do, it will always get here in the end.
