Passenger bed seats

Hey forum, can anyone recommend a double seat with seatbelt clips and seatbelts that converts into a bed?

I have seen a couple online but couldn't find one that I can mount as seats flat against the side of the van which then convert down into a bed.

You won’t find anything that is classed as sidewards with seat belts. I have sofas either side of my van and only the fwd facing seats are belted.

Even lap belts would be dangerous if sitting sidewats.

Don't think it is legal anymore to have side facing passengers it may depend on the the year of the van. To dangerous to contemplate anyway. Also I think aftermarket seat belt fitting requires a DVSA inspection.

Have a look for rock and roll beds from Volkswagen converters to get u started. Think u can get some with seatbelts but not for sideways fitting.

From memory I think sideways seats were made illegal in vehicles built from 1997 onwards.
I may be out by a couple of years, but they had certainly gone by 2000

Probably why seatbelts never fitted to older Landrivers with side facing seats.

Mine is 2006 and side facing seats, but no seatbelts.

Think the law states that all belted seats must be occupied before rear sidewards seats can be used.

Ahh I wasn't clear on that sorry chaps. They will be placed directly behind the two front passenger seats facing back into the van...

IF rear facing, the seats must be designed for that purpose with adequate neck support.
