Passenger Airbag

Hi there, I'm in the process of looking to get a 2nd hand Boxer/ Relay (2017 or later) to convert to my layout, however I'm having trouble tracking down a van with both passenger and drivers air bags. I'm just wondering if it is just a reality that most conversions simply don't have passenger airbags, or if I just need to be more patient with my search. I can't find anything on the web on retrofitting a passenger airbag, so presumably that would just be too expensive or too difficult to do safely.

Most white vans are basic. They don't worry about the passenger.

My 2012 conversion does not have a passenger airbag, not really a problem as I always drive.

Very few fleet managers/ buyers will tick the PAB box when ordering a work van/ delivery van

A lot of PVCs lack the passenger air bag in basic spec, probably to keep the starting list price low.

Most buyers pay extra for an option "Pack" that usually includes passenger airbag, cab aircon, cruise control, and one or two other useful bits and bobs.
