Looking for help to source a replacement part for a Daytona T595, 955cc triple engine.
For some reason the bung ringed on the attached photo has disappeared. This causes all the oil to pour out of the engine!!
Triumph have stopped making the part and main dealers have never heard of one going missing off an engine and don’t have one anywhere.

Does anyone have any suppliers they know that might have one laying around because the bike is useless at the moment.

An alternative would be if anyone has one on their bike that we could get some details off so we could copy it, possibly 3d printed but at the moment we have no idea how it could be held in position because it is not threaded into the hole and there must be crankcase pressure behind it.

Video with the engine running.

This bike (not ours) seems to have an aluminium cover fitted.

There is a good bike breaker just outside Stoke which does mail order - damn, can’t remember its name, will ask hubby. Have you a service manual on it or can get one online - maybe get the part number from it? There is a Triumph owners club in Glasgow - can see you are Scotland. Triumphforum.com has a Daytona section on it - very helpful with information on parts etc.

Brilliant Rosemary, we will give them a shout in the morning.
Thanks

Managed to find the aluminium version from eBay.
Thanks for your suggestions, will keep them in mind for “next time”.
