Parking Near Southampton?

Anyone know any good Southampton spots for parking? Don't need facilities as it's only one night. It seems to be a bit of a dead spot on all the apps I have.

We could park at Winchester and bus it in of course, but I'm hoping someone with local knowledge might be able to recommend somewhere. We'd be arriving at a sensible time, but heading back to the van possibly after midnight.

We are 7.5m & currently about 3.8T (actual weight not max. weight).

edit - S4S just threw up a couple of few carparks in town (Woolston District Centre, Crosshouse Pay & Display, Harbour Parade car park) , I swear it didn't before! So some options at least, but would still appreciate any local knowledge.

Often people camp up on hound road near the church between netley and hamble

Ok, parking in Southampton is officially a nightmare!

Finally got a spot the other side of the toll bridge which tried to charge me 40 quid!!!

Lovely spot, in a park with a bowling green. No restrictions that I can see, and free.

Thanks for reminding me of that link (I had it bookmarked on my old phone). Yeah, there's a few scattered around, though most were taken for a Saturday night at such short notice, and some were further out than we wanted to be. The one we found though was cracking! Almost made up for 2 hours driving around Southampton central in a big van on a busy Saturday afternoon
