In Tintagel car park with 20 or so vans and the T6 next to us starts his engine so they can take showers.
Every other van in a 15m radius closes all windows and doors for next 15 mins….
Acceptable?

Well if they only running engine to have showers,it won’t last long,so not really a problem.

How you know they running engine so they can shower?

15 minutes is too short to have a coronary over - imv
Shared space and all that.
9pm hardly a flogging offence

There are far worse annoyances. If it’s the pub car park in Tintagel, just nip in for a swift one while showering is in progress. As they say…. if life gives you lemons, make lemoncello! 🙂

It would appear that the vdub is not too concerned about upsetting their neighbours though.
When we were in Italy a couple of months back had a pair of twats in a hirer PVC running their engine for over an hour and a half so they could run the cab air conditioning to keep cool, with the bloody radiator fans kicking on and off every 20 seconds or so.

Because they had windbreakers as shower curtain…..

Why do they need to run the engine to have a shower?

Last time we were in that car park was walking out in the morning to be greeted by a lady with her back up against her van ,trousers around her ankles, peeing onto the tarmac (and before you ask NO I didn’t get any photos!) count your blessings 👍

It appears you apply that to all VW owners/users which I doubt is the case.

Can I ask again , why do you need the engine running for a shower?

Why did you assume that then when I did not indicate that at all, your assumption not mine.
Maybe you need to go back and read it again. (y)
Oh yes, I see what you mean. It was the people in the vdub, not vdub owner/users in general who weren't concerned about upsetting the neighbours. The ones in the hired PVC were different twats.

We were at a festival a couple of months ago. It was actually pretty hot for a few days!

The VW owner opposite kept on running his engine to get some AC going. He looked pretty miserable. We were fairly comfortable. I guess a motorhome's insulation was helping a bit, and our MaxxAir was pulling a nice breeze though.
