Rally Chat Parbold (Lancs) Ukulele festival 2019

We have just been to a great Uke festival in Parbold, five pubs, music all weekend, workshops and jamming sessions. Brilliant fun. Would anyone be interested in a meet / rally early August next year. Long way away, but would like to see if anyone is interested and numbers, before I approach the organisers

Some can, many can't, I've only been playing for a few months. It's just a good weekend, plenty of music, pubs, food, and best of all its a beautiful Lancashire village.

Talking to the organisers, and hoping they and the riding stables would let us use one of their fields. Early days yet.

You don't need a uke, some will be playing, some doing their own thing. Bus to Ormskirk, trains to Southport and Wigan if you get really bored. It's just (hopefully) a fun weekend. Hoping the stables nearby will think it's a good idea.
