Paint patches?

I have a Ducato with the flaky paint problem. Some areas are quite bad and will need proper preparation and paint but some bits are just very small flakes. I remember when my dad got a new car in the 1980s or early 90s it came with a sheet of patches to cover stone chips etc a bit like rub off transfers. So can you still get this? If so what do I search for?

They look about right. Quite pricey though! Need to find someone who has used them now. see if they are any good

I tried paint patches on a VW Golf in the '80s, results were not good. Maybe pay a Smart Repair operative to sort it out?

I think the problem with the paint patches is presumably they are sticky they might remove some more of the flaky stuff!

You also have to consider the colour match. The original paint will not be the same as when it left the factory. The sun will have diminished the colour so a new patch to the original paint code will stand out like a sore thumb.
