Paint or Decals ?

Well, it’s come to that time in life.

Health issues for us both and they now mean we aren’t going to be able to do even the basic tasks involved in Motorhoming and the vehicle will soon be on it’s way to a lucky buyer.

But before selling the MH I need to sort out a problem with paint peeling off the bonnet (see pic) and I’ve been quoted between £250 and £650 for a respray.

A cheaper option may be putting decals on the bonnet.

Has anyone else done that and did it look okay ?

Which ever way you go you probably wont get the cost back so as Winger said, sell as is.

Put an extra £300 on the price and let an interested buyer knock you down. Everyone will be happy.

As Lenny HB says Keith in my opinion. People will drive a hard bargain at any price and condition. I really don’t think it’s worth the effort. But if you do, paint. Easier and stickers not to everyone taste.
On a different note. Sorry to hear about your health at present. I for one am grateful for your YouTube videos, watched them extensively as research for our first couple of forays into France so thank you

A bonnet Bra will cost around 40 Quid, have a look on Amazon or Ebay, I put one on my last MH, very effective and covers up the flakey paint.....

I’d get it sprayed
It was a common issue which they know about but don’t seem to want fix it
Each will be different but I wouldn’t buy one like that
