Not that easy. Import into Australia is quite difficult from when I looked into it. Very strict.
New Zealand is easier.

We had a camper from kings cross auctions, most buy from there, gold coast or cairns. Travel and flog it. Not sure if upmarket stuff happens.
Email RV dealer there and ask.

I've sent you a PM about our experience of Camplify.

On one occasion we were visiting wife’s family in Queensland we met a couple from the UK that had flown into Cairns and bought a cheap camper van rather than hiring for a long visit.
They did say they were lucky and not had any major problems but knew of people that bought into trouble costing more than hiring. Personally we hired in New Zealand with no problems and piece of mind that problems could be sorted by the hirer.
