My Oyster V shows 'error 2011 over current at elevation motor' when I press the dish up button. I'm not sure if this is a hardware fault or simply a misalignment of the elevation motor due to high winds etc. although it was working ok last time it was used about 4 months ago. Anthony at Ten Haaft took me through the re-alignment procedure a few years ago which involved slackening the two large hex bolts on the dish then performing some service procedure at the control panel. Finally, I needed to go back on the roof and put a thumb and index finger between the dish and the bump stop before tightening the hex bolts back down to a specified torque. I know this is a bit vague in my memory but does anyone have the correct procedure documented? Of course this may not be the issue and I might need to take it in to a service centre.

Good afternoon hillsrob111

The overcurrent message is saying that the motor is either requesting more current than the board is able to supply or that the board cannot supply the right amount of current. Unfortunately it could be a problem with either the board or the motor and would need to be inspected in order to determine which is causing the problem.
Unfortunately our office is closed until Tuesday but if you contact us then on 01858575928 then we will be able to advise further on this and the reset you have mentioned.

Thanks AndyPK for the tag

Thanks for your reply Andy. I do appreciate that you are on holiday like many others. I'll give you a call on Tuesday to discuss further. I came to the same conclusion after reading your similar reply to a post with error 2012 for the azimuth motor.
