Oyster Satelite

Hello all,
We’re new to this site so apologies if this question has been asked numerous times before!
We’ve recently had an Oyster satellite fitted to our van, however we are finding that in western France e aren’t able to pick up many channels? Does anyone know if there’s an issue with Astra 2 satellite? We had a similar dish fitted to a caravan and never had any issues!

Hello, we are in the Vendee and previously between Bordeaux and La Rochelle. The dish is 85cm.

You reception will also depend on the receiver you are using. Some are much better than others for dealing with a weak signal.

You should be ok in the Vendee area I’ve just returned from further south than that
We had all the mainstream channels 60 miles north of Pau using an 85cm Maxview with Autoskew
