Hi all,

I'm new to this forum. I have a question regarding used Oyster system that I managed to aquire.
In my case antenna case has 4 pin cable + Coax and control box has 10 pin (two connectors 6+4)
Control box is Magicsat Easy
Antenna is Oyster vision 85

Does anyboy know/have pinout for wiring theese two together? Maybe Anthony OysterTech would be willing to help?

Morning fefox

To be honest I'm not exactly 100% sure what you've got here. The Oyster unit on the roof is an Oyster IV Digital top unit which has the connections in your second picture. The cable runs down to either an Oyster digital receiver or a Vision III black box (actually dark grey) both of which will have a four pin connector for the satellite control cable, a three pin power connector and coax input/output terminals. The Digital receiver has an RJ45 cable to a small magic eye (sat mouse) and is controlled by remote control and the Vision has an RJ11 cable to a four button control unit which controls the dish. As far as I'm aware (could be wrong though) the Magicsat Easy is a Teleco system so I'd really need to see the setup before I can advise further. First thing I would recommend is to find where the cable from the roof unit comes into the vehicle and find where that goes as the connectors in your first picture isn't from that cable. You might find you have the Oyster units tucked away out of sight and the Magicsat is just being used as a receiver.

Morning Anthony,

first of all thank you for your time to help clarify my problem.
Components of my Oyster system are not mounted on motorhome (yet), I bought them of local craigslist.
It is possible that something is missing. It is difficult to know because I'm new to this.
I was under impression that Magicsat connects to antenna system directly.
I have three components (TV not counted)

Thanks in advance, Robert

fefox unfortunately this looks to have been butchered to work with Teleco electronics. I don't think I can actually help. I really wouldn't know where to start.

Only thing I could recommend would be to purchase a new main cable and Oyster electronics in order to operate the system as intended.
