Where is the best place to over night while waiting for the shuttle to France

The Drum inn is very close. Not the cheapest as it is also a campsite but nice pub and food.

Like others, the Canterbury P&R at the top of New Dover Rd. Been using it since it first opened many years ago.
Safe as houses. (y)

Cheers,

Jock. :)

If self sufficient, Farthing Common off M20 ( not too far from the Drum pub) it's free to park and has good views. There is walking trails there if you want to stretch your legs. Have a look on Google maps.

Canterbury P&R
New Dover Road, CT1 3EL

20 mins to Dover docks
£8 per night
water and dump station
Pub that serves food next door.

If you arrive with time, a free bus into Canterbury where you can easily spend a day, the Cathedral is well worth a visit as are the city walls and the high street.
A vast selection of bars, pubs and restaurants.
