Our ferry from Dieppe is 6am. Is there an overnight parking facility in the Dieppe port after the last ferry has left the night before?
Can anyone advise where they usually stay if on the 6am ferry.
Thanks

I took the early ferry from Dieppe last month. I just stayed in the port carpark, surprised how few vehicles were using it, and just one check-in booth open...
The aire is just a few hundred yards away anyway.

We pulled into the Carrefor supermarket after getting off the ferry at 5 am so you could stay there or the other one shown below. You need to be on Searchforsites sites to make it work.

We stayed at the Auchen after getting off the ferry at the start of the month, just us. Its a big area, we parked up towards the top of the parking.

The aire is closer but the price has gone up alot!

Stayed many times in a small queue up to the check-in gates, seems to be the norm. The staff are quite laid back and friendly. The building has toilets and vending machine and there are dog walking areas around the fenced perimeter.

Much of the retail park where Auchan is sited is on a quite a slope. The flatter the area the more cars you will find parked there in shopping hours. There is completely flat parking the other side below Auchan adjoining the McDonalds and there is an decent all you can eat buffet Chinese restaurant there. You could shop at Auchan maybe parking on the slope then move round to park outside the Chinese/MacDonalds and eat at one or the other then mosey down to the Port and park up overnight there overnight arriving late evening.

An alternative if you want to explore Dieppe on foot for a few hours and maybe find a nice restaurant to eat is to park at the Aire near the ferry port and walk in. They do both a 24 hour and 6 hour charge. 24 hour charge is 18 Euros. I forget the 6 hour charge.

Do you mean the Auchan supermarket rather then Carrefour? The two Carrefours in Dieppe are both the size of a Tescos Extra. Neither has a dedicated carpark and you would struggle to park a car let alone a MoHo near either and there would be zero chance of an overnight stay.

It was the Carrefour about 5 minutes from the port, plenty of room when they kick you off the ship at 5 am in the morning.😀

Belleville sur mer aire is free and used by @lennyhb and us. Otherwise the port seems good enough
