I want to photograph the fast jets at the Mach Loop. I know that there is a small lay by at Cad West large enough for about 20 cars. Is it illegal to stop overnight at lay bys in this area?

The A487 is quite a busy road but probably goes quiet overnight. I think you'd probably get away with overnighting there especially at this time of year.
How busy it is I`m not sure, it might depend on if the jets are flying and those `in the know` are out in force ?
As for legality, it's a grey area
