Overnight at folkstone

Hi guys.any Tips on overnight parking at folkestone chunnel or near.thinking of travelling down from North Yorkshire on the evening then getting the train through the tunnel early next day.thanks

Farthing Common is a great overnight parkup if you want off grid. Handy for the tunnel too.
Otherwise Canterbury P&R is frequently recommended but not used it myself

I parked in grimston ave in folkstone when catching Chunnel a few weeks ago nice wide street,there was a few other mhomes parked some looked as if they’d been there for some time and only a short drive to the chunnel terminal.

Hello, we are off on Eurotunnel again in a couple of weeks and have decided that we can no longer stomach staying at the Drum Inn. So we are thinking of the services at Folkestone Junction 11. Has anyone any experience of staying there. The motorhome parking seems to be in front of the service...

Hi.yes that was a option we looked at last night,didn't realise they ran through the night and we've a longish journey down to folkestone but may consider that.

Nice view, relatively quiet at night. If you want to stretch your legs there are walks.
