over night stop in moffat

Hi all, heading for montrose and thinking of using moffat as our overnight stop, a few years ago I remember seeing a couple of MH,s which had obviously stopped the night at moffat Mill, does anyone know if this is still a possible car park to overnight, I have looked on the usual places like S4S, P4N etc and can not see it mentioned.

There is also a public car park adjacent to the children's park which I've seen many motor homers use free of charge.Public toilets opposite too

No overnight sleeping in vehicles at the car park
why not use the Green Frog or Moffat C&CC

just below Gretna is the Metal bridge pub stopover no charge if you use the pub excellent food n camping but booking in advance is essential

always amuses me these meaningless signs. Exactly how are they going to prove you were sleeping when they waken you up to check if you were!lol

Don’t know if it’s the Old Mill, only stayed there in September on way back from Scotland, back car park set out for motorhomes, toilets, water & elsan. Would stay again
