We have just brought a motorhome over 3.5 ton I have a C1 do I need the mort angles stickers in the uk or only abroad and what are the rules if I don't put them on ie ferry/tunnel crossing driving in Europe etc any help would be great thanks in advance

I don’t bother, lots of kilometres with no overtaking if you are over 3.5T when you have about a thousand trucks in the right hand lane.

It won't affect the tunnel costs, you book as camper not freight.
I'm 3.9 tonne, have them in the locker but never fitted them and nobody has ever challenged me.
Unless you're a Morello / Concorde I thing they assume all camping cars are 3.5 tonne

This post has just answered my questions about the horrible stickers think I will get some and put them in a black bag in the garage and hope they never have to see daylight.

Why would being over 3.5 ton affect overtaking? The restrictions we see are squarely aimed at large trucks, not stuff below 7.5 ton usually.

I cant even be bothered to buy some to put into the garage.
Ours weighed in at 3.5 then uprated to 4.1
We wont go anywhere near city centres
A friend of mine kept a photo copy of their original V5 to show at appropriate times which seems a good idea

Quite a few dual carrigeways have no overtaking over 3.5t. N10 is the worst, dual carrigway with hard shoulder, 80kph limit & no overtaking over 3.5t.
