Oven Igniter not sparking?

Oven igniter stopped sparking today was fine yesterday and the top one for the grill is working fine ??

any ideas ???,, I am using matches to get oven working today

Try cleaning the gap between the ignition probe and the burner.
It only needs the smallest strand of carbon to prevent the spark.

grease on the spark electrode or a wire off usually

The gap seems very fine will have to get some thin sand paper , it could be that as last night my wife was doing messy sausages in the oven fat could have splashed ????

If like mine and needs door open to work, it must also have some switch on the hinge/door mechanism.

it stopped working with door open or closed but grill is fine

Ask the wife for a used emery board, as I find those perfect for cleaning the terminals

OK so tried cleaning it but no result , cant be battery as Grill ignighter is fine ,, How do you get the ignighter out ?? how do you get oven out ??????

my oven igniter has a 9v battery located in the pan storage cupboard below the oven , tucked up out of view

just noticed you said the grill igniter is ok.. so won't be the battery ... or if no battery the 12v supply
