As said above..
it's a simple termperature probe, no calibration or resetting required..
It either works or it doesn't.. but it is important that it works .. apparently the DPF regen needs the ambient temperature feed to work properly ...

On my 2006 Hymer A Class it's below the Trauma boiler. It's very nondescript but you can confirm it by putting an ice cube to it and seeing the temperature fall on the control panelCan anyone tell me where the outside temperature gauge is on a Hymer B588DL is located please

I believe this is only relevent to engines with Adblue. Older DPF systems may even not have a temperature sensor.As said above..

Nope, but I think it maybe behind the front bumper.We have a B678DL and as long as you have a temp reading I wouldn’t worry I haven’t got a clue where the sensor is but if I ever come across it I will post on here
