- Add support to new Orion XS 1400

New features
- Remote H/L now also included as a condition to pause the charge algorithm as done with low input voltage. Charge algorithm is now paused for a maximum of 2h before triggering a new charge cycle, as already done for low input voltage. If charging resumes before the 2h timeout expires, the charge algorithm is resumed from the state it was previously.

Improvements
- Improve overall robustness of the hardware control and internal software to increase reliability even further.

Has it been released yet, as mine shows v1.05 as the current up to date version ?

Yes mines been on v1.06 for a while - didn't make much difference - Think this one might be worth it though

An Orion XS 100amp is probably the main reason for the release.....

1.05 made a difference to my Orion XS as I was previously getting errors with charge resets.

The app (which appears to be current version) isn't yet detecting any upgrade necessary to 1.06 let alone a later version ?

Oh yes - forgot about those! Yes they've stopped I think, can't remember when 1.06 went in.

The update came up on VRM /Device List/Firmware Update - Checked it today because it's cold out and I was getting a bit house bound!

No update for my XS via the Victron Connect app, but checked on the VRM and the update to v1.07 was available and now updated.

DO NOT UPDATE TO 1.07!

If you are on 1.07 you need to update to 1.08 as soon as possible. The version 1.07 has been pulled as it has bricked some units.

Orion XS:

• Add firmware v1.08
  • Fix issue introduced on v1.07 that could lead to the charger failing when the battery voltage is above the output voltage target.

A friend of mine is waiting for a replacement unit after his was bricked. It’s probably been an expensive mistake for Victron.
