is it just those 2 panels damaged ?
Looks a bit more than just a couple of panels ...

Seems to be the skirt too which has a crack down the front edge and it's standing away from the bodywork, and the centre panel has a big piece missing out the top corner as well as at the bottom.

More importantly ... Baden87 how on earth did you do it!

The plastic bits that got here are £18.99 a pair

Mum and dad's "fell off" after staying on a site

Not suggesting anyone stole them 😒

The repair guy claims there is a metal framework behind the plastick that needs repairing

£5,870 repair costs
I would seriously seek another opinion . I would be very surprised if the real cost of that repair is a fraction of what you have been quoted and that would include new fibreglass panels . I would also get a smart repair specialist to quote . You would be amazed at what they can do . The damage looks bad but I am guessing it’s minor cosmetic damage than can be easily fixed for less than your insurance excess !

If insurance job, ask for recommended coachbuilder. I can believe each small panel costing around £500 but £5000 unless substantial bodywork damage underneath, seems a lot. Were they pricing it for insurance or a personal repair.

Not sure where you are but these guys have done an amazing job on mine (twice ) and do not charge the earth. Cannot tell where any repair has taken place and they specialise in motorhomes...
