Have you got the bits? If you have ask at your local motorcycle garage if they can give you the contact of the nearest plastic welding place. They use them for fairing repairs.

I actually have a plastic welder in the garage but I'm away abroad for work, so was trying to get a quick fix, unless I can teach the wife to attempt it.. many thanks

I had same problem - repair quotes varied from £450 to £750 with a wait time of minimum 10 weeks.
Brownhills supplied the new part delivered for about £85 - local caravan repair workshop took the damaged one off, then put new one on for £50. Much the best option.
