Hi guy's im new to the motorhome game and we are off to Portugal on Tuesday, getting a ferry to Bilbao and driving across, is it worth booking a campsite for 1 night stop over, or is there plenty of places to stop

No need to use campsites there are plenty of free aires about. Look on CAMPINGCARINFOES its a French site but has all the aires in and easy to follow or P4N is another British site. Good aires in Vittoria Gasteiz, Burgos, Palencia, Salamanca, Caceres. Just a few to go on with
