Omnistore awning roller/bracket

The roller/bracket in the center of the awning box has become detached, there are two self tapping screws in the bracket but they just screw into the bracket itself and not into the awning box. For the life of me I cannot see see how to re-attach the roller/bracket, can anyone enlighten me? Or can I just leave it out as it doe

as it does support the rolled up blind.

We might need a photo, but if you are referring to the self tappers on the underside I often find mine loose and sometimes missing, think they are belt and braces and not critical to holding it on
