Old Toad Problems

The Autocruise Toad alarm (fitted new) is playing up with intermittent setting, it always locks the cab doors and flashes the LED alarm set light, however upon opening the habitation door, no alarm!

I've checked the reed switch on the door, all OK, so it's something deeper.

I also note that movement sensors in the cab area are sometimes armed and sometimes not?

I have the feeling that a trip to Taunton to get a Growler installed is possibly the best answer even if it means saving the pension up for few weeks. Especially as my Winter Fuel Allowance is in danger!

We have a toad on our Autotrail, i thought it was just an engine imo device..i got no documentation with the Toad so not realy clued up on it.

a friend of mine that fitted alarms professionally had no end of issues with toad and cobra alarms and recons they are inferior rubbish

T'was just a sticky reed switch, all fixed for a fiver. Let's hope it gives me another 10 years faultless service.
