A few years now
A few Funsters went to this festival last year & gave good feedback for both the camping area & event https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/foru...llow-end-worcester-funster-meet.147027/page-4 so posting this thread to help anyone interested for this year to turn it into a meet?! It's unlikely that us Wombles can be there as it will be another busy summer for us with all the other events & festivals but hope some will enjoy it again.
Link here for info. http://www.oldbushblues.co.uk/ - they currently have an Early Bird offer of £52 per person (includes camping) plus £1 p&p when booking via their website but if you book with Matt over the phone (please mention Motorhome Fun) on 01905 830792 it's £50 total per person with no p&p charge. This popular festival does sell out so worth booking your tickets if you definitely want to go.
It is the same weekend as the Malvern Warners Show but hopefully plenty of Funsters to fill both venues.

Line up so far :xThumb: :

Just posted on their Facebook page that Early Bird tickets are still available.

there 4 of us so price per person makes far expensive, why the high costs ?

26 bands/performers
3 'stages'
Limited numbers, so never overcrowded.
Pub prices for food & drink.

Personally I think it's bloody good value - which is why I'm back again this year.

You think £50 for a weekend festival is expensive? :Eeek:

Do yourself a favour and never ever look at any big festivals

We’re at one of the smaller (15000 people) cheaper ones this weekend and the campervan ticket is more than that never mind the actual festival entry tickets

Is it always the same weekend?

It looks good but if it clashes with Beautful Days every year it’s a non starter for us.

Great to be in that position
I think what he meant was 4 people equals £200 just for starters and if all from the same family yes it's alot of money quality bands or not

It’s ridiculously bloody cheap by music festival standards. At those prices I bet it would sell out twice over.

Don’t forget it’s a commercial event, not a club rally. They’re there to make a profit and a festival is an incredibly expensive thing to put on.

My point is why complain about something that’s so cheap? If you don’t want to go fine don’t go but why complain about it?

Looks a great festival and your right £50 is a great price will definitely look for this next year I think the point I was making was x4 is costly what ever you do not that it wasn't value for money.
Have a great festival and post abit af feedback.
On the calendar for next year

Whatever or whichever way you look at it it’s £12.50 per night (&day) each, one in a van or ten in a van still £12.50 each per day, fair I’d say mate(n)(y)

I attended last year and enjoyed every minute of it. The camping was level and the showers were clean and hot. The music/musicians were so good but despite trying as hard as I could I didn't have sufficient time to see/hear them all. If I hadn't so many calls on my time this year I would be there now. (Probably having a pint with Stephen and Ceri - that's the Welsh spelling btw(y))

Just walked up the hill into the CL behind the pub to get these snaps to give you a sense of scale of the festival... basically the pub's back garden...

Oh and promised grey cloud cover & showers seem to have done one.
