Hi guys, so on our new van we have dealer fitted mifi, we have taken the unlimited sim out of the house router and put it in the van, we park the van across the front of the house and our phones speaker and tv in the house will access the mifi without a problem. In order to power the mifi we have to leave the control panel on in the van, will it do any long term harm to the panel ?

We leave control panel on all the time and MiFi switched on. Only when draining water system or over winter when we leave the taps open do we switch off.

I always power down the main 12v system switch when the van is not being used. If you are concerned, the alternative could be to wire the wifi directly to the leisure battery.

Always lave it on, only time I turn it off is when working on the system, most of the time don't even remember to turn the water pump off.

I'm sure rapido are on micro switches but safer to leave it off ta
Our 2011 Rapido taps do not use switches so we always turn the pump off when not in use. We have set the controller to a pump running time limit of 5 minutes, just in case we forget and a leak develops.(y)
