Hi all. Help needed! Hubby did an oil change in our Peugeot boxer motorhome, yesterday. Now turns over, but will not start! Any ideas please?

Difficult to guess from here with just that info but it's unlikely that a straightforward oil change would be to blame.
What else did he do? Change the oil filter? Disconnect the cab battery? Remove any covers or cabling? Change the fuel filter?
Does it have any electrical/electronic aftermarket anti-theft or immobiliser devices?
Is he using the usual ignition key or a replica spare? Is the battery in it O.K?

He said was a straight forward oil change, as far as he is aware, no cables were disconnected.

Diagnosing a fault 'blind' requires following a methodical process of elimination so from the (lack of) info given I can't offer any further ideas.................but answers to my couple of simple questions in my earlier post might perhaps have helped to eliminate some possibilities, so my advice is to call out your breakdown service or a dealer to sort it out.

Is the alarm system stopping it?
Is the key fob battery flat?

Has he disturbed the crankshaft sensor/wiring when removing the plastic undertray ?
Check if there is a padlock symbol on the dash when cranking, this would indicate an immobiliser problem ?

He is using the usual key. Changed the oil and oil filter. That was all. Yes battery is ok. He didn't move or uncover any cables. It doesn't have an alarm or immobiliser. It is a Peugeot Boxer, Elddis Firestorm 200. Thanks.

Sorry guys, I am new to this. My replies seem to be posted twice. He is going to check the crankshaft cable tomorrow, will let you know what happens

I don't know your vehicle's features but gazing intently into my crystal ball...............is it an automatic and the gear selector isn't in the 'Park' position?

Well, there's also a fuel cut-off valve which may not be opening (blown fuse?), or coincidentally you've run out of diesel, or an electrical fault (blown fuse?) on the engine heater plugs circuit, or............

Always worth checking the state of the battery ... put a multi meter on it and see what it's reading

Keyfob is not flat. No alarm on it. Peugeot boxer eldiss firestorm 200 deisel, manual, 2014. I seem to have 2 threads, sorry, new to this. He is going to look at the crankshaft sensor cable tomorrow. Will let you know what happens. Thanks for all your replies though 😊

Van man, someone coming tomorrow to look at it, with multimeter. Thanks

almost a certainty that his knocked something of check for pipes or wires not connected

You sure it's a 2014? Didn't think they made the Firestorm after 2009/10?

Sorry!! It's 2003

Hi all. Re: Peugeot Boxer Motorhome wouldn't start after oil change.
Problem fixed! Our Son unplugged the oil sensor cable, plugged it back in....it started! All ok now!
Thanks to all who helped out.
I think your on an uphill struggle getting a refund for such a minor issue.
A simple multimeter would probably find the fault.
