Doesnt it get exiting, were booked on Le Shuttle in the morning, me the wife and Dog heading to Spain, all packed up Crocs n'all :p in fact multiple Croc's, not sure how many we are allowed to take accross into Europe now

We will over night in aires through France, in Spain aswell but also some wild camping there if necessary. We'll head through France down the west coast then probably one night in good ol San Sebastian before crossing Spain to the east coast.

I have fitted another 230a Fogstar so lots of electric to use so not quite so reliant on gas, which pleases me, it will also please management as I wont be asking "do they have gas ?" each time we pass a fuel station.

Enjoy your trip👍👍

Have a good trip. We are there now, currently near Benalmedena. The forecast is getting cooler so bring some sun down with you! Also a lot of sites are quite full so be prepared to move inland a bit.

Enjoy your trip we are in El Campello at the minute, moving down at the weekend to La Marina to see some friends who live there🍻🇪🇸😎

Thank you all, were not mad on sites so if no aires are available we stealthily quietly park up out of the way. Im expecting mid 20 degrees and no cloud if you dont mind, I want none of this cold talk o_O Croc's arnt good in the cold.

I dropped my phone and the camera part of the phone took it hard, its now stuck in the Selfie position but if you insist on pics your'l see why I didnt win the Mel Gibson look alike competition !

We'll be heading that way in 17 days unfortunately we have a funeral first
We start though at Ouistreham then following the coast to Mirambeau North of Bordeaux to an aire then next stop is Berriozar before we end up at Benicarlo for our first stop

Hope you're OK from Calais
We have friends South of Paris and their area is flooded as their flood plains are not coping even unbuilt

Be aware that, in order to reduce over tourism Spain is introducing a tax aimed at undesirable tourists. ie Croc wearers.

Each Croc will be taxed separately with a sliding scale according to the undesirability of the colour, starting at £100 per Croc for “acceptable black” increasing in cost according to the vibrancy of colour.

My purple ones would mean that I would have to sell our motorhome if any of the above was true !😎

Have a great trip, hope you get some good Croc weather rather than the welly type.

Have a great trip - we'll be roughly following that route on Tuesday.
Looking forward to pics if you have time please!

We headed to the South of Spain last year in early Feb and managed to get onto Cabopino which we didn’t like at all but we’d booked two weeks. There was little around as it was a late booking. The first week was cold and and wet but it soon warmed up but the forecast wasn’t good again with more bad weather forecast so we admitted defeat in our initial plans to head to Portugal and went back East.

The little microclimate of Beni didn’t let us down!

Good luck and have a great time.

Expect Spain to be busy, plan ahead, arrive early and have a back up plan....bit on the cold side just now, but rising a few degrees next week.😃🇪🇦
Please, don't be impatient! Summer will punish us harshly:LOL:
Let's enjoy a bit of this, not that bad cold?😄

Joking aside, enjoy your trip Roger S

Is that Benicàssim, Benitaxel, Benicàrlo, Benimuslin, Beniarres……..or the Good old Benidorm ?

I much prefer the cold, if dry, to the summer heat.

We ended up on La Toretta in Benidorm which we didn’t particularly like but Villasol which we love was full. It was Easter so we were lucky to get in anywhere. When Beni is mentioned on here most people know it’s Benidorm :giggle: We’d booked last minute, I’m amazed we got a fancy cabin plus lounge pass on the Portsmouth Santander crossing. My baby sister had died suddenly at Christmas and we’d not had the funeral until 17th Jan. I booked impulsively soon after, wasn’t even sure if we were ready!

We don’t understand the appeal of Cabopino at all for wintersun. With hindsight we should have hired a car and gone inland. Cycling is just dice with death. We would get a bus or walk along the boardwalk to Nerja but that was boring every day as it was deserted. We’d been to Malaga before so went there but that was a hike by bus or bus/train. Fuengirola was OK.
