Odd faults

2019 Ducato 2.3. Engine management light on but drives fine. Lost cruise control and the reversing camera does not work from selecting reverse but works if switched manually. Any ideas where to start looking?

When you select reverse, does the reverse light work?

When you select reverse, does the reverse light work?

Firstly tried reversing lights engine and sidelights on. No reversing lights or rear camera. Tried fuse for cruise control and it’s ok but cruise control still not working. Will get it to a code reader after the weekend. Hi hum.

It’s the engine shaped orange light. Van drives as normal with no other warning lights.

Cruise control can be any number of things..... ABS sensor, speed sensor, brake light etc.
Last time for me it was the rear hub sensor tone ring had corroded away.

Maybe the DPF Pressure sensor .

That’s a possibility. Never been changed and came up as a fault some time ago then cleared. Thanks.

You are certain it's not the bulb failure light? If the BCM senses a fault it switches off the circuit

Checked the fuses and F35 had blow. Would you believe reversing lights, sevotronic control unit, water in diesel sensor had blown. Doh. In my defence I had to find the handbook first…. All working now but need to clear faults. Thanks to all who took the trouble and time to assist.
